By default, the TwinCut machines are equipped with two working spindles, which operate sequentially. The spindle change speed, considering the time required to stop the first spindle and start the second one, is 12 seconds.
The TwinCut machines are specially designed to allow one spindle to process the entire working area specified in the technical specifications. In other words, if the stated working area is 2500×1300 mm, then either of the two spindles can process this area.
An additional compressor is required for machines with automatic tool change. For stable and proper operation, a compressor capable of maintaining pressure at the machine’s input of 8-10 bar and having a productivity of 420 normal litres per minute is necessary. The preferred volume of the compressor’s receiver should be at least 200 litres.
Various CAM software allows the creation of toolpaths, such as V-Carve, ArtCAM, Rhinoceros, Deskproto, etc.
