Can you increase the number of tools in the tool magazine?
The base configuration of a CNC machine includes four interchangeable tools in the tool magazine. We can increase the tool magazine size up to seven tools without any structural modifications. However, a change in the linear magazine’s layout is required to accommodate even more tools.
Does the control system support the RTCP (Rotate Tool Center Point) function?
The control system supports the RTCP (Rotate Tool Center Point) function. The RTCP function utilizes the machine’s kinematics and tool length to calculate the necessary axis movements to ensure that the tooltip remains at a constant position when the B-axis is moved manually or according to the toolpath. This allows for easy tool length adjustment without updating toolpaths, increases reliability by reducing human errors, significantly reduces setup time, and simplifies the process of creating toolpaths using CAM or manual G-code programming.
What type of reducer is used for the B-axis?
A harmonic drive reducer, manufactured by a Taiwanese company according to our specifications, is used to rotate the spindle. This reducer is an important component of machines with tilting spindles. Its accuracy is not less than one arc minute.
How many simultaneously controlled axes does the machine have?
The ATS-2513.4D.Auto is a 4-axis CNC machine. This series of machines is equipped with a full-fledged 4-axis controller capable of controlling all four axes simultaneously.
Do you have a fixture for curved furniture fronts?
Yes, we have developed specialized fixtures for curved furniture fronts. This equipment is universal and does not require effort to fix the workpiece, as it has a vacuum fixation system. This system allows the processing of MDF fronts of various shapes and radii.
What kind of compressor is necessary for a CNC machine?
An additional compressor is required for machines with automatic tool change. For stable and proper operation, a compressor capable of maintaining pressure at the machine’s input of 8-10 bar and having a productivity of 420 normal litres per minute is necessary. The preferred volume of the compressor’s receiver should be at least 200 litres.
Is a PC required for the machine?
An industrial computer controls CNC machines with automatic tool change, which is integrated into the machine’s control system. Therefore, a PC is not required for such machines.
